Since its appearance in 2001, the Valvetronix series from Vox has evolved by merging sophisticated modeling technologies with the Valve Reactor circuit that simulates the response of a tube amp. With the VTX series, Vox hits hard by offering an amp to do everything. So what's up ?

• Amp simulations gain in realism thanks to Virtual Element Technology which reproduces the characteristics of the original circuit components.
• The Valvetronix multi-stage tube preamp incorporates an analog circuit that reproduces the subtle nuances of an all-tube amp.
• The hybrid power stage combines an analog circuit with a digital power amp. The differences between class A and AB, the effects of the bias adjustments and the lamp response variations are reproduced authentically by an analog circuit. All of these settings can be adjusted to your preferences to personalize your sound and amp's reactions.
• The sound quality of each model has been greatly improved thanks to the optimization of the DSP (digital signal processor). The sampling rate and the quality of the effects are at the heart of the new sound possibilities of the VTX.
• A USB port lets you use the Vox Tone Room software to customize amp and effects simulations. You can store up to 3 amp effects or simulations in your VTX. The Tone Room is available for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Edit and share!
• To gain realism, the bass-reflex subwoofer reduces energy loss at the moment of signal reproduction and projects generous bass.
• 11 amp models (20 using the Tone Room software)
• 10 customizable effects (and up to 4 simultaneous)
• The optional VFS5 Footswitch lets you select a program / effect and change the speed and tempo settings of the effects.

Are you tired of your "preset" settings that are impossible to adjust on classic combo amp models? This amp is made for you! You can really have fun thanks to the small VOX software that allows us to create a rig to your taste, with effect pedals, amp heads, and the full range of delay, reverb, etc. The sound of this amp is decent, you really feel a difference thanks to the tube present compared to a classic transistor combo. Very affordable and really practical. The only downside is that you have to play at a relatively high volume to truly appreciate your instrument, but that's not necessarily a problem for everyone ;)

Modeling amp with formidable efficiency!! The presets are numerous and varied, its effects are of (very) good quality and the possibility to create your own sounds, you have here a real tool to work the guitar. What I like the most: whatever the volume, no sound distortion and you can really play at low power. I really like the range of sounds it offers, you have to spend a little time at the beginning to get the hang of it but you quickly find your bearings. Too bad the pedalboard is sold separately. I recommend it!! Kudos again to Woodbrass for the order processing.

First of all, VOX is a brand that is close to my heart. This amp has a good amount of pedal effects. Sure, it's not a boutique pedal or very high-end pedals. But these effects do their job and that's what you ask for. You can also record your own sets! So once the guitar is plugged in, you just have to choose your set and you're ready to play! So if you live in an apartment and are looking for an amp at a reasonable price that allows you to play all types of sounds, then go for it!

Received in record time, very nice amp. I tried it quickly because with the heat right now, having a guitar in your arms is madness; hands get sweaty, not to mention the body. I'm waiting for better days, or rather a milder temperature, because 32° in an apartment is crazy. But the amp has impeccable finish and the few sounds I was able to produce satisfied me, and 20 watts is more than enough. Impeccable delivery. Thank you Woodbrass.

So after a month of use, I am more than satisfied. The possibilities on the amp settings are endless! The sound is almost identical to some tube amps I have tried, including the Marshall 800, Vox ac 15... You will be able to enjoy an ultra versatile amplifier. I'm not even talking about the pedalboards that offer a whole range of more than high-quality effects..... GO FOR IT!

I feel that having a tube in the preamp allows for a much less cold sound. A 20W is more than enough for an apartment, easily powering a dozen pedals, you can use 3 together. 11 amps and with USB you can increase to 23 with the online app. I am very satisfied. good amp more complex to adjust than the mustang 1 but well in manual mode it's better I use it in vox ac 30 tb and I test different settings in comparison with the mustang I play with a fender strat with noiseless pickups a delight

Very good amp. I was looking for a second amp, mobile and inexpensive, but with good sound quality. I am not disappointed, Vox did a good job: not all presets are obviously equal, but some models are particularly successful.
