Yamaha is at the origin of the nomadic amplifiers that have revolutionized the practice of the guitar outside the stage or the studio. The new THR®-II series takes the next step: new models of guitar amps, new bass amp models, new models of electro-acoustic guitar pickups and a flat mode to connect all your other instruments. The three new THR amplifiers provide Bluetooth® connectivity for audio playback and editing via the THR Remote application.
New THR10II

VCM TECHNOLOGY (Virtual Circuitry Modeling)
VCM technology recreates all the subtleties that traditional digital simulations can not approach, and thus offers all performances the best analog effects.

15 GUITAR AMPLIFIER MODELS + 8 EFFECTS
3 banks of 5 models of amps are available to offer the widest range of sound, clear crystal clear sound saturations denser. Each bank also offers a different bass amp model and a microphone model for electro-acoustic guitar. A "flat" mode is used to connect another device such as a keyboard or electronic percussion.
The THR-II also offers a dual effects processor. The first offers a selection of the best modulation effects and the second offers Reverbs and Delays
Dynamic processes (a compressor and a noise gate) are accessible from the THR Remote application.

EXTENDED STEREO TECHNOLOGY
Developed in collaboration with the Yamaha Audio / Video division, the THR-II range offers true Hi-Fi stereo sound, unheard of in the field of guitar amplifiers. The exclusive cabinet and speaker design provides both optimal guitar amplification and perfect listening to your stereo backing tracks, producing an ideal listening mix.

BLUETOOTH® CONNECTIVITY
All THR-II models feature Bluetooth® connectivity for audio playback, the Mobile THR Editor app also lets you edit your own custom presets from your device.

EDITING FROM YOUR IOS® / ANDROID ™ DEVICES
The editor "THR Remote" offers the possibility to control your amp from your smartphone. No need to be in front of your amp to make the finest settings. Simply launch the application and sculpt your ideal sound from your sofa. The editor is also available on Mac and PC.

DRAWN FOR YOUR SPACE
The versatility and flexibility of the THR is directly inspired by the most prestigious amplifiers. Its sound possibilities are sublimated by an elegant design that will easily find its place in your space.

INTEGRATED AUDIO-DIGITAL INTERFACE
The new THR-IIs are USB Class Compliant, allowing you to simply connect them to your PC / Mac and mobile devices without installing specific drivers. Simplify recording with the integrated audio-digital interface.

Cubase® AI / Cubasis® LE
THR-II amps come with Steinberg Cubase AI and Cubasis LE software (download). Cubase is one of the most advanced and comprehensive workstation software available on the market; As it evolved, it has become a powerful and versatile music production platform, appreciated around the world. Cubase AI offers the same technologies and the same user interface. Cubasis LE simplifies your recordings from the iPad®.

Excellent! Delivered in 24H Its HiFi sound and surprising bass well reproduced on such a small device. I use it on an electric cello and the result is very satisfactory, clearly better than what I had with a small combo that sounded plastic especially since my instrument is very low-end. With a Yamaha SVC 50, 110 or 210 cello, it will be really perfect. I tested the USB connection on the computer with Bias FX2 which allows adding a multitude of effects and mixing back with the sound given by the amp which opens up many possibilities. Just a small downside on the slightly high price and the lack of line output like on the THR30II, too bad. What about the possibility to connect a footswitch?

I left the overseas territories to study in mainland France 8 years ago. I was able to bring my guitar but not an amp. In the meantime, I played using an external sound card and amp simulations on the computer. Between my studies, then work, and the time it took me each time to set everything up just to start playing, I lost all desire and ended up stopping completely. Then I ended up buying this desktop amp... And I regained the desire and pleasure to play. Electric guitar, acoustic, bass... It handles everything. No complex settings, even with all the knobs at noon it sounds good! If you don't want to bother and just want to play quietly at home, it's a safe bet.

Very good amplifier for use in an apartment or house. The sound is very good. However, for effects, I recommend using the application (mobile or PC) to have more options and better control of the effect levels. The amplifier is made of plastic and very light, but it remains very aesthetic, especially with its red light coming out of the speakers! In short, I recommend it without hesitation, very good value for money.

A very good quality sound in a room of the house (not made for concerts) with a large number of built-in effects, you can find your happiness. I would have liked an output loop to be able to put a looper after the amp effects. I would also have liked a footswitch included.
