The PANDA BT belongs to the family of versatile active speakers, designed to offer quick setup, reduced footprint, and connectivity suited to modern uses. Its 8-inch format favors portability without sacrificing impact, while remaining easy to mount on a stand thanks to its standard 35mm pole mount. The goal is clear: to provide an "all-in-one" solution to amplify a voice, play a playlist, or sound a small space with minimal equipment.
This bi-amplified active speaker targets musicians, DJs, hosts, associations, classrooms, sports coaches, and event providers seeking simple and effective sound reinforcement. In stage monitor configuration, it allows for clear listening at controlled volume; in front-of-house, it is perfectly suited for small performances, speeches, and events. Thanks to Bluetooth and the 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input, it is also comfortable for background music playback, rehearsals, or presentations with playback from smartphones, tablets, or computers.
The PANDA BT includes dedicated amplification for each frequency range: 150 W for low/mid and 50 W for high frequencies, totaling 200 W RMS (400 W program, 800 W max). This 2-way architecture improves precision and transient response by limiting interactions between the woofer and tweeter. The 8-inch driver with a 1.5-inch voice coil provides a solid foundation, while the 1-inch tweeter delivers definition and intelligibility, especially for vocals.
The integrated DSP offers four listening modes (MUSIC, LIVE, SPEECH, DJ) to quickly adapt the frequency response curve. The SPEECH mode enhances voice clarity and presence, LIVE targets balance for instruments and vocals, MUSIC favors a pleasant and even listening experience, and DJ emphasizes perceived energy. This approach saves setup time and ensures reliable sound even in variable acoustic environments.
With a dispersion of 90 degrees x 60 degrees, the speaker provides coherent coverage for an audience facing the sound source while limiting lateral spill. The crossover frequency at 2.8 kHz is optimized for a natural transition between frequency ranges. The frequency response from 65 Hz to 19 kHz and a max SPL of 120 dB cover many uses without strain, provided the positioning (height, angle, distance) is appropriate and volume levels are managed reasonably.
The connectivity is designed for real-world situations: two Combo XLR/6.35mm Jack inputs accept microphones, line sources, or mixer outputs. A third input combines RCA, 3.5mm stereo mini-jack, and Bluetooth for playback from consumer devices. To daisy-chain a second system, the LINK output on a male XLR simplifies signal distribution to another speaker.
The Bluetooth 5.2 connection allows pairing with a compatible device up to 20 m maximum (depending on environment). The TWS (True Wireless Stereo) system enables linking two PANDA BT speakers together to create stereo sound without wired audio connections, ideal for events, small sets, or temporary installations.
The injected polypropylene enclosure prioritizes durability and lightness, and the recessed handle facilitates handling. Power is supplied via a SHUCKO connection, with a main ON/OFF switch and a 110/220V voltage selector to adapt to installation requirements. The 35mm pole mount ensures immediate compatibility with most speaker stands.
