Mackie is a very good USA sound system brand and has been for a long time. The speaker in question (which works on battery or mains) is very good ++. The battery life is sufficient for a night (about 10 h) at a reasonable volume. The power is impressive at high volume and these are real RMS Watts, there is no doubt. The distortion is really very low at high volume. What I can criticize about this speaker is that it lacks a bit of mid frequencies when the sound is neutral. To fix this, just adjust them from the equalizer of the source used (if it allows it..). The bass and treble are very good. The Bluetooth works perfectly but a USB port would have been nice.
