With a contained length of 16 cm, a width of only 6 cm, and a weight of 260 g, the BAIO ("Box All in One") is an all-in-one multi-effects pedalboard capable of offering all the essential features and functions for modern guitarists.
Very easy to carry, operating on a rechargeable battery, and super resistant thanks to its metal chassis, it allows total control of your sound in all circumstances.
With nine selectable preamp types modeling legendary amplifiers, you will easily find your clear and crystalline guitar sound or powerful distortions, controllable using the Tone and Drive knobs.
The modulation section, accessible via the Mod button, allows you to add Chorus and Phaser. The built-in Delay effect manages the delay length (Delay), the number of repeats (FB), and the presence of the delay in your signal (Mix) via 3 knobs. A Reverb is also available with a mix control (Rev).
The IR button lets you choose from eight impulse responses specially selected for the BAIO by the famous Italian guitarist Massimo Varini, who selected and adapted some of the best ChopTones® IRs. From Blues to Metal, you will have the possibility to use a selection of amplifiers, cabinets, speakers, and microphones specially combined to offer a realistic and convincing sound both live and in the studio.
Thanks to the Out control, you can adjust the BAIO's output volume, and using the three footswitches, you can switch from Preset mode – to use and configure the 3 recordable Presets – to Live mode, where you can adjust IRs / Rev, Delay / Mod, and Preamp separately on the fly. With the footswitches, you can also activate the Bluetooth module (to play along with your favorite backing tracks) or the built-in tuner, so it is possible to mute the sound (Mute function).
A versatile and connected tool for guitarists!
The rear panel features two standard jack sockets for input and output, an ON/OFF switch, a micro USB port for powering the pedal and recharging the battery with a 6-hour playing autonomy. This micro USB connection also allows connection to a computer to use BAIO as an audio interface and download new third-party IRs.
Thanks to the micro USB phone input (Phone), you can connect your smartphone to the pedal using the supplied cable and use the BAIO as an audio interface simply on your mobile phone. There is also a mini-jack headphone output that allows you to listen silently to the instrument signal and any Bluetooth playback simultaneously.
The Eko BAIO software, available for PC and Mac, allows you to manage all the functions available on the BAIO: it is possible to load and save external IRs in the 8 available slots; edit the 3 presets by modifying each parameter (gain, tone, effects, IR ...) and save changes in the 3 available presets; restore factory IRs and presets.
With all its practical features, the BAIO is therefore a compact and portable all-in-one multi-effects pedalboard to always have your favorite sounds at your feet!
