It is not difficult to memorize what one loves. Therefore, the apparent difficulty of musical texts compared to the student's level of study should not be surprising: it is preferable to start from a song learned by heart to study its elements and enjoy making music right away, rather than trying to decipher these texts intellectually but without live music.
