The new Lâg Sauvage guitars combine an original raw look with strong ecological considerations, both in the choice of woods and in manufacturing process. A truly unique, characterful acoustic guitar, the brand new LÂG SAUVAGE series features a stunning figured solid Pale Brankowood top and a body made of smoked Eucalyptus with a powerful rough and wild appearance. The perfect control of the tropicalization process results in a powerful, balanced-toned solid top, while its rounded back provides depth and and rich low end.
The characterful LÂG SAUVAGE series will include all the most popular Lâg Guitars body shapes (Dreadnought, Auditorium, Parlor, Travel?) and options (cutaway, electro-acoustic, nylon) so you are sure to find your match.

Great Sound Without Costing the Earth

The FSC-certified BrankoWood used for the solid top (Pale), as well as for the fingerboard and bridge (Black), is an innovative tropicalization process that gives renewable woods the tone and consistency qualities of rare and protected woods, or those on the verge of becoming so. The finish of the smoked Eucalyptus body is also carefully designed to reduce fine particle and chemical emissions during finishing sanding. The shape of the back has been carefully designed to ensure large projection and rich basses.

Lâg owners have become accustomed to over the years. The Lâg Guitars Sauvage have been crafted without compromises. Each model of the new Sauvage series is enhanced with premium features including the black graphite nut and compensated graphite saddle which ensure greater tuning stability and tonal response. Die-Cast 18:1 Ratio Machine Heads allow for easy and accurate tuning whilst the dual action 2 way truss rod gives you complete control of your guitar setup and action.

This guitar is perfect in my eyes in every aspect: beautiful (it's the first thing that catches the eye), a neck that's easy to play, equipped with a sound rich in bass and slightly leaning towards the mids, by default fitted with strings of good tension to give it a dry and precise sound. The preamp does its job perfectly and matches wonderfully with my Charlie amp. Bravo Lag!
