Simple but not easy.
Who could imagine that a simple white pedal with a single knob could offer as many possibilities to make your system more efficient and bring you to your ideal sound? But that's what the M133 Micro Amp MXR offers. Designed in the 1970s as one of the first models of the brand, it takes the circuit of the Distortion + without the gain, simply maintaining an adjustable output level boost up to 26 dB.

No mistake possible.
The added volume ratio is set by the single central button, whose location offers the great advantage of being able to adjust the tip of the foot while you play, without forcing you to look at your pedalboard in the middle of an inspired solo. With a single button and a footswitch, no risk of activating an undesirable function at the wrong time! This indestructible little box does just what it is supposed to do.

Answer to everything.
Your use of the M133 will depend on the rest of your system. If you use very long cables or if you go through many pedals, it will act as a buffer always engaged, by raising your output level. If you place it after your usual overdrive, the Micro Amp will bring rhythm to solo with a footswitch stroke. Finally, upstream of an already crunchy amp, it adds the extra volume that will make your sound richer, more fluid and full of harmonics. It's up to you to try all these possibilities, even if you need two or three Micro Amp for your concerts!

I was hesitant at the time to buy this pedal... 100 back then. But I'm glad I bought it and I thank woodbrass. I have a pedalboard with 5 pedals and I was seriously lacking gain, boost, punch... This 6th pedal was exactly what I needed to warm up my bass sound and give it some punch! It's a perfect pedal to close a loop made up of many pedals because the more pedals there are, the more the sound loses gain and punch. You especially hear the boost on stage with big amps. It's magical, it rocks! A little advice: don't be afraid to turn the knob, turn it past 12 o'clock!!! Thanks to Woodbrass for this product!

A real boost with some punch (who said clean boost ???) On a clean sound it gives more kick but it doesn't saturate or barely. But its domain is in the amp's saturated sound, you turn it on and bam big sound this time we gain some gain.
