The Quested S7R is designed to be compact while providing bass extension suitable for most monitoring needs. The integration of a 6.5-inch low-frequency driver with a front-loaded dual-flared port design results in reduced turbulence and a monitor that is very placement-friendly against walls. The built-in amplification delivers a total of 190 W RMS to the drivers. Power is distributed as 120 W RMS for the 6.5" LF driver and 70 W RMS for the silk dome tweeter. Input sensitivity attenuation as well as bass and treble controls are available on the rear panel. The frequency response is 68 Hz to 20 kHz with a tolerance of ±2 dB and a -6 dB cutoff down to 58 Hz. With the addition of the SB10R, the frequency response can be extended down to 27 Hz for those who want to monitor accurately down to the lowest usable acoustic frequencies.
