AR1 is an algorithmic reverb plugin designed to place your sources in believable spaces-from small rooms to halls or stadiums-without unnecessary complexity. It excels in mixing as well as sound design: it places a vocal at the back of the stage, adds depth to a piano, or widens a synth lead while preserving the clarity of the direct signal. Its "set, listen, validate" approach speeds up creative decisions and the finishing of your productions.
Early Size defines the distance of the early reflections, while Early Level controls their influence on the overall image. Together, they establish the room's signature and the sense of source proximity.
Size enlarges the room and extends the reverb tail. Width adjusts the stereo width: from 0 for a centered mono output to 100 for full stereo field breadth.
Pre-delay delays the reverb response in milliseconds, simulating the travel time of reflections and helping preserve the source's attack while suggesting a larger space.
Bandwidth attenuates high frequencies to soften the room (like a furnished and padded space). Damping controls how quickly these high frequencies dissipate, shifting from a bright room to a more absorbent acoustic.
