SA2 Dialog Processor Native v7 is a dialogue processing plug-in designed to speed up work on spoken voices, whether in post-production (film, TV, documentary), podcasting, voice-over, interviews, or web content. Its goal is to save you time on corrective equalization by targeting the frequency areas that most often cause problems in speech recordings, while maintaining a natural and intelligible sound.
Thanks to its "strategic" approach, it helps stabilize the timbre of a voice recorded under variable conditions (different microphone, changing distance, imperfect acoustics) and better highlight dialogue in a mix without having to stack multiple EQs and analyses. It is a relevant tool both for quick editing and for a more complete processing chain (cleaning, dynamics, equalization, spatialization).
The core of SA2 is based on five active equalization bands that work in a targeted way to treat sensitive areas of a spoken voice. Each band is independent, allowing you to tailor the processing depending on the speaker, microphone, and context (close voice, room ambiance, more aggressive take, etc.). The idea is to provide effective and controllable correction focused on clarity and word comprehension.
SA2 offers multiple processing modes to adapt the bands' response to different scenarios. This allows you to quickly switch from one behavior to another depending on the sound material, narration style, or the role of the dialogue in the mix. In practice, you gain speed in decision-making with a consistent approach from one episode to another or from one scene to the next.
The plug-in includes a distinctive signal reduction meter, particularly useful on an "active" processor. Instead of working blindly, you can clearly see when and how much the processing is applied. This is a real advantage to avoid over-correction, compare settings, and stay within a transparent processing zone, even during long dialogue sessions.
SA2 is designed for reliable integration in demanding sessions, with double precision processing to preserve signal detail and ultra-low latency to maintain a smooth workflow. This low latency is appreciated both in post-production and in recording and monitoring when you want to process a voice in real time without any sense of delay.
The plug-in is available in mono and stereo, which facilitates its use on a classic centered voice track as well as on stereo takes (recordings, dialogue ambiances, certain reportage edits), while maintaining the same processing logic.
