Essential Information About Melda MRotary Software
- Ultra-flexible Leslie simulation: 2 motors (Leslie-inspired cabinet model and mathematical algorithm) that can be combined and distributed across up to 6 speakers.
- Cabinet design by materials: define size, material (wood, steel, fabric...), microphone placement, and mixed parts to shape your "cabinet".
- Complete signal chain: high-end amplifier, tube saturation, advanced dynamic equalizer, and safety limiter.
- Modern workflow: powerful modulators, tempo synchronization, MIDI Learn, preset management, and free lifetime updates.
What MRotary Is For
MRotary recreates and surpasses the famous rotary speaker effect of Leslie cabinets used with Hammond-style organs, electric keyboards, and guitars. Whether aiming for an authentic vintage tone or experimental and futuristic textures, this plug-in fits into rock, soul, jazz, funk, electronic production and sound design, on individual tracks or effects buses.
Main Features
Two motors, up to 6 speakers
Choose the "simulator" motor inspired by historic cabinets for organic realism, the "mathematical" algorithm for novel movements, or morph between the two. Assign a different motor to each speaker and build configurations up to 6 channels within a single cabinet.
Parametric material cabinet
Instead of fixed presets, MRotary lets you design the enclosure: dimensions, wall materials, material combinations, microphone placement... Tonal behavior and spatial response evolve in real time according to your choices.
Built-in dynamic equalizer
Derived from MAutoDynamicEq, the dynamic EQ offers more than simple bass/treble adjustment: widen the stereo field by modulating dynamics per channel, sculpt transient response, or tame resonances while maintaining musical flow.
Amplifier, saturation, and level control
The amp emulation reproduces typical analog warmth, with extended drive levels ranging from subtle crunch to modern distortion. An AGC (automatic gain compensation) and a safety limiter ensure clean gain staging.
Modulation and performance
Modulators control slow/fast speed, depth, distortion according to velocity, envelope, or host tempo. Add tempo synchronization, MIDI Learn, multi-parameters, intelligent randomization, and state comparison for a fast workflow.
