What Aparillo Is For

Aparillo is designed for soundtrack composition, sound design, and any music requiring immersive soundscapes: drone, ambient, sci-fi, thriller, trailer, experimental music. Its 16-voice FM synthesis and continuous morphing allow the creation of moving layers, organic or metallic timbres, rhythmic textures, and instantly "cinema-ready" themes.

Main Features

Sculptable FM Synthesis

Two FM operators interact through various complexity modes and ratios to generate richly textured waves. Waveshaping, wave folding, formant shifting, and a scalable scale editor open up deep harmonies and striking unison spreads, up to a true 16-voice "orchestra."

Orbiter: Expressive Morphing

The Orbiter pulls the strings of the entire engine via an XY pad and acts as a central macro controller. Animate the mouse or map a position per note to deploy up to 128 variations and achieve spectacular sound movements in one gesture.

Polyphonic Modulation

Each voice is an autonomous layer: envelopes with customizable slopes, looping modes, and polyphonic parameter modulation. The two complex LFOs offer FM, Gravitation, One-Shot, S+H/Quantize, and chaotic Collision Mode. The arpeggiator intertwines with the engine to extract melodic and rhythmic patterns.

Effects as Sound Source

The FX section includes the Spacializer (pitch resonator with delay) capable of generating an additional layer through waveguide synthesis. The multimode filter offers Comb, Vowel, and the formidable Dirt HP/BP/LP. A poly-autopan, synced delay, and rich reverb add space and dimension.
