The EON Series, JBL's Benchmark for Portable PA Systems
For years, the "EON" systems have represented JBL's approach to a reliable, ready-to-use portable PA designed for the road. The EON 208P follows this tradition: a compact package combining JBL transducer expertise and a full-featured mixer, delivering clear, powerful sound that is simple to set up.
Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?
Ideal for DJs, singer-songwriters, solo/duo artists, presenters, teachers, and places of worship, the EON 208P easily covers meetings, classes, parties, and small stages. Its stereo output and power reserve provide convincing sound reinforcement for up to about 60 people, while remaining quick to assemble, disassemble, and store.
Key Features to Get Straight to the Point
Detachable 8-Channel Mixer
Channels 1-4 feature XLR/6.35 mm combo connectors for connecting dynamic microphones or line sources, with phantom power on channels 1 and 2 for your condenser microphones. A high-impedance selector on channel 3 allows direct guitar input. Pairs 5/6 and 7/8 offer balanced 6.35 mm jacks and RCA or 3.5 mm mini-jack connectors to easily integrate keyboards, players, and computers.
Streaming, Effects, and Convenient Outputs
Stream your tracks via Bluetooth, add reverb for vocal comfort, power a subwoofer through the dedicated output, and manage a monitor mix with the monitor outputs. A 3.5 mm headphone output facilitates quick listening and control.
JBL 2-Way Speakers
Each satellite houses a 203 mm woofer (8 inches) and a 1-inch aluminum dome Neodymium tweeter for balanced response. The 100 x 60 directivity and 2 kHz crossover promote even projection and good vocal intelligibility.
"Suitcase" Transport
The polypropylene chassis withstands rough handling. Closing the speakers over the mixer makes the entire system carryable with one hand-perfect for back-to-back rehearsals, classes, and gigs.
