This product is certainly very good, I have had very positive feedback but when you are not a professional, it is impossible to adjust it so that it does its job. So for now, it serves as decoration. Too bad...

Very good device for recording rehearsals or a live performance. The microphone does not saturate, it captures all the instruments well even when the microphone is not next to the musician.

Very good quality. But the plastic structure is not great, buttons and knobs a bit questionable in their durability. Having compared with an H1 and an H4N, I would say: H2 and H4N similar in sound quality and both extremely close to the H1. And yes, it's all about the settings. In fact, I think the price difference is more due to the extra features than to possibly better microphones. Depending on your needs, you will choose the one that suits you but don't think that by taking an H4N you will have better sound than an H2N just as by taking an H2N you will think you have better sound than with an H1. I hypothesize that the microphones of the three are the same or at least have the same output when you find the right setting I emphasize. So, as for me, I only need it for guitar voice with ambient mic and solo piano via line in, an H1 is more than enough.

Received on time, very well packed. Not tested yet, instructions to study, and since my percussion classes only resume in September, it gives me plenty of time to get up to speed and really understand what is, for now, just "gibberish" to me ;) . But I feel like I'm going to make it, and manage to have an optimal use of this little gadget :) Thanks Woodbrass for the quality/price ratio of the Zoom h2n pack + its accessories. However, it was impossible to reach you by chat (two days in a row :s ) before ordering, but I finally managed to get a counselor on the phone, who answered my questions simply and pleasantly :) Christine
