The RØDE NT5 is a cardioid condenser microphone pencil. Designed for recording acoustic instruments, such as drum overhead, cymbals and stage use, this externally polarized mic features a 1/2 ?capsule and a J impedance converter -FET active with bipolar output buffer. Its tight cardioid directionality also makes it an ideal microphone for recording dialogues in the studio, mounted on a stand or on a pole.
