The Auto Level module targets a more consistent volume while preserving the character of the performance. It makes it easier to bring a vocal forward in the mix without having to multiply automations and contributes to more even dynamics, useful for both lead vocals and backing vocals. The Compressor complements this approach by shaping attack, sustain, and density according to style and diction.
The Dynamic EQ detects resonances and acts in real time to reduce them selectively. The result: a more readable, less aggressive voice with better-controlled midrange, particularly useful on takes recorded in imperfect environments. The EQ then allows you to shape the timbre (presence, air, warmth), while the De-Esser controls sibilance and overly sharp consonants without muffling clarity.
