New Sculpted Neck Heel
The rounded heel and beveled neck plate improve upper fret access and allow for more comfortable soloing.
2-Point Tremolo with Cold-Rolled Steel Block
This Stratocaster features a two-point tremolo bridge with vintage-style saddles to ensure excellent tuning stability, smooth vibrato action, and easy setup. Additionally, the reworked cold-rolled steel block delivers increased sustain, clarity, and brightness in the highs.
Deep "C" Neck Profile and Rounded Fretboard Edges
The American Professional II's Deep "C" neck profile provides comfort and playing speed. It is slim at the nut and gradually becomes fuller as it approaches the body, allowing for a natural feel suitable for both chordal and single-note playing. The hand-rounded fretboard edges and satin Super-Natural finish give the instrument an exceptionally comfortable touch.
Special Electronics
A new push-push switch installed on the second tone control will delight live players. It activates the neck pickup when the pickup selector is in positions 1 and 2, adding two unique configurations not usually found on a Strat.
