A trio of single-coil pickups – two DiMarzio® Area 58™ pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a DiMarzio Area 61™ at the bridge – delivers vintage tones without hum. The maple "Soft V" neck with nitrocellulose lacquer finish and the 22 medium-jumbo frets on the maple fingerboard are built for speed and comfort. An integrated active boost, activated by the push/pull volume knob, and a custom mid-boost controlled by the Tone 1 knob, give this guitar increased power and focus in all musical situations.
