THE BEST KEYBOARD MECHANICS AVAILABLE FOR A SCENE PIANO The mechanics with Grand Feel wooden keys draw on over 90 years of expertise in the manufacture of acoustic pianos to offer an exceptionally realistic playing experience. Like a grand piano, the eighty-eight black and white keys are made entirely from long pieces of wood and rest on a balancing pivot to reproduce the swing movement of an acoustic piano mechanic. The keys of the Grand Feel mechanics are the longest in its class and the pivot length corresponds to that of a Kawai grand piano. When you press the front of a key, the back rises and throws a hammer that plays the note. These hammers are graduated in size and weight to reproduce the weight of the heavier bass keys and that of the lighter treble keys of an acoustic grand piano. The forward and backward movements of each hammer are precisely measured using three-sensor technology, allowing faster repetition of notes, improved responsiveness and increased realism of play.
