Ibanez AE275 Acoustic Guitar
X-M Bracing
After years of trial and error, Ibanez developed the X-M Bracing to deliver the ultimate sound that stands out on stage. The carefully scalloped X-bracing, along with the placement of tone bars and finger braces, efficiently transmits string vibrations from the bridge to the body. The X-M Bracing produces clear low-end, crisp highs, and warm, mellow mids, while offering a wide dynamic range and high responsiveness.
AE Body Shape
Designed for projection, balance, and comfort, the contemporary AE body shape offers the best of all worlds.
Ibanez AP11 Magnetic Pickup
The new AP11 pickup is small, lightweight, and positioned to avoid inhibiting the natural vibration of the top wood. It delivers a highly responsive sound with minimal feedback and a lively response across the frequency range. The tone is transparent and reflects the guitar’s natural acoustic character while preserving presence and midrange. The AP11 also works well with effects like reverb, chorus, and more.
Ibanez Custom Electronics with Volume and Tone Control
The guitar is equipped with built-in treble and bass controls, making it adaptable to a wide range of modern playing situations.
Comfort Grip with Rounded Fretboard Edge
For optimal playability, the neck is specially designed with a Thin-C Comfort Grip and a rounded fretboard edge.
Jumbo Frets
Jumbo frets make fingering easier.
Scalloped Pau Ferro Bridge
The lightweight scalloped bridge enhances vibration efficiency for better resonance and offers more flexibility in action adjustment than a standard bridge.
Pau Ferro Fretboard
The Pau Ferro fretboard delivers a well-balanced tonal character across the entire range.
Nyatoh Neck
The Nyatoh neck provides rich mid and low frequencies.
Okoume Back and Sides
Okoume back and sides produce a warm, woody tone when played softly or fingerpicked, and deliver punchy highs with clear projection when strummed.
Ibanez Advantage™ Bridge Pins
These pins offer a real advantage over traditional ones. Advantage™ pins are easier to remove and insert than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes them easier to grip and prevents over-insertion. Best of all, the pin and string stay securely in place.
Preamp
This preamp uses a two-knob configuration. The knob closest to the player controls the magnetic pickup volume. The farther knob is the tone control.
