The Celebrity series is the first step into the world of Ovation.
Everyone will find their true Roundback guitar at an attractive price.
The guitars in this series are equipped with a solid spruce or cedar top. Their acoustic sound alone is already convincing. Indeed, with the exception of the Elite Deluxe, which is equipped with Quintad bracing (rays arranged in rays), most models are equipped with quartersawn X-bracing, a cross-shaped wooden construction that stabilizes the top and allows the sound to develop optimally.
All Ovation Celebrity series guitars have a Nato neck and are available, depending on the model, in Mid-Depth, Super Shallow, or Deep Contour Lyrachord Body versions.
The electroacoustic signal processing begins with an Ovation Slimline pickup at the guitar bridge, which is distinguished by its narrow shape. The notched bridge increases the pressure point on the piezoelectric crystals, promoting a particularly regular sound. Before leaving the guitar, the signal is further refined by an Ovation OP4BT preamp with 3-band equalizer and built-in tuner.
The Celebrity series instruments are divided into two ranges, Traditional and Elite, which are distinguished by the types of rosettes used (Center Soundhole, the central rosette, or Multi Soundholes, the multiple rosette). The Plus designation characterizes guitars whose tops have been enhanced by special woods.
To perfect the sound quality, all Celebrity guitars are equipped in the workshop with high-quality Adamas or Hannabach strings, depending on the model.
The instruments of the Ovation Celebrity Elite series have something special, both for the eyes and the ears.
They are equipped with the signature Ovation Multi Soundholes multiple rosette. This innovative construction uses several small openings on the edge of the guitar top instead of a single central hole.
This has two positive effects: firstly, the vibration surface available in the center of the soundboard is increased, and secondly, the sound comes out much closer to the player's ear.
In addition, the Multi Soundholes attract attention on stage.
