Use
I purchased a Yamaha YSS 475 lacquered soprano study saxophone in September 2008. It produces a very good sound, is very easy to handle, and offers good control of high notes, especially F sharp, provided you invest in another mouthpiece. For my part, I chose a Selmer S90 170; the original mouthpiece did not fully satisfy me in terms of embouchure and sound reproduction. In conclusion, very good value for money for this saxophone, which is the least docile of its family.

A well-finished saxophone. Unfortunately, the high C# is out of tune and some notes are not very accurate. You will have to constantly compensate for this tuning by pinching the reed. The mechanics are not very smooth but will improve over time. You are buying a saxophone that is in the student instrument range; however, at this price, one expects something better in terms of tuning.
