This year 2023, Buffet Crampon is pleased to present a new student instrument: the Prodige alto saxophone. It is the result of exceptional digital design work (CAD) and traditional craftsmanship. The PRODIGE alto saxophone complements a range of student instruments specially designed to start and accompany you during your learning. Special care has been taken to adapt the saxophone to the characteristics of a young and beginner audience from music schools:
Lighter to reduce the weight constraint of the instrument, especially to relieve the neck and the right hand wrist
The keywork has been designed to correspond to the morphological characteristics specific to children's hands
Sound production has been facilitated throughout the instrument and more specifically in the low register
Its robustness is also perfectly suited to rental fleets of institutions offering it and to the somewhat rough use by younger musicians thanks to its reinforced architecture which provides excellent mechanical stability. Equipped with their Prodige alto saxophone, young musicians will be able to freely express their budding musical inspiration, individually or in groups.
Its practical and sturdy case allows it to be transported everywhere while effectively protecting it from possible mechanical and thermal shocks
