The DV Chicago silver metal tenor saxophone mouthpiece is the culmination of Jody Espina's research to make the most efficient saxophone mouthpiece that provides the most generous and richest sound.
DV CHI produces a deeper and less brilliant sound than the contemporary sound of JodyJazz DV, but clearly brighter and more modern than JodyJazz DV NY. The magnificent shape of the deflector and the chamber of the DV CHI produce a sound reminiscent of that of Dexter Gordon, but which fits very well in a contemporary situation.
