Also tested 2.5 reed on Selmer tenor with 3 mouthpieces: Otto Link tonemaster 7*, Selmer S80 1* and Dukoff D7: very easy to play across the entire range from the first try. Impressive. Rich harmonic sound that does justice to each of these very different mouthpieces. I recently had to throw away about ten old reeds (Rico, Lavoz, Vandoren zz force 3-3.5) equivalent to the price of a synthetic reed, but I will keep the light signature from now on: no more problems, consistency and stability. You take it, you play. The sound is natural, not at all "plastic" or too bright. All embouchure effects (vibrato, growl, overtones) are greatly facilitated. Worth trying at least for practice: time saving and concentration guaranteed! I am personally CONVINCED and will try it on my soprano with a Brancher mouthpiece.... (Show more)

Since I tried it, I've adopted it.
Always ready to use. Consistent in both lows and highs.
And of equivalent quality. No more reed boxes where half are useless

Also very pleasant to play: flexibility and sound quality are present. Recommended.
