Coated Controlled Sound® drumheads have medium and heavy-duty drumhead characteristics. The outer area of the head’s playing surface offers mid-range tone and sensitivity while the laminated center “dot” adds durability and tonal focus. Coated Controlled Sound heads are one of Remo’s most preferred snare drum heads.

This drumhead is magical, my poor Millenium snare drum has become a real raging monster, I did not expect that at all. I'm telling you, this drumhead brings your sad snare drum back to life and makes you happy Very good value for money

The reputation of the remo CS is well deserved. More matte than the ambassador. In the center on the circle, the sound is thick and matte, there is the snap, and around it, the harmonics are slightly attenuated. A safe bet.
