This 12-inch speaker combo, covered in black tolex, captures the spirit of late 1950s amplifiers, appealing both to vintage enthusiasts and modern guitarists, whether in blues, rock, jazz, or country. This single-ended Class A amp offers 4 simple controls: Drive/Preamp, Tone, Volume/power amp, as well as an Extra selector to add a bit of grit.
It delivers 4 or 12 watts of power. The Koch-designed Power Soak and speaker simulator allow silent recording by disconnecting the speaker and sending the amp’s signal directly to a recording console. A reverb tank completes the setup.
