Pleasantly surprised by this amp, but it is true that all the tests of this device are unanimous.
Playing with headphones is incredibly easy with this device, really practical. I hesitated with the HK Tubemeister range in particular for this headphone playing function which I can't do without these last years because I live in an apartment. Finally, the Laney is much cheaper, does not require the additional purchase of a cable or line amplification to transmit the signal to the headphones which are essential with the HK and has very nice features.
Beautiful modern sound for this high-gain tube amp, but by playing with the settings it is possible to get a more vintage sound. Honestly very versatile. The only downside is the reverb which is very basic but well it helps and that's the point.
I really like the format, really compact, it is placed on my desk next to the laptop. Be careful it heats up a lot, and that's quite normal, but do not cover it and keep the vents clear!... (Show more)

Top!!! I wanted a tube amp to play in an apartment, it's just ideal, rather modern sound but you can get a bit of vintage tones by spending some time adjusting it, you can play with headphones (your neighbors will thank you), connect it to a sound card via the DI and output the sound to speakers which allows you to push the amp while keeping the output volume as you want (and again your neighbors will thank you).

Excellent little amp, for now I've only used it in direct output. The Cab simulation is not to my taste, but with my own IRs it's perfect. Just need to test it on the right cab. Otherwise, the boost and reverb are cool, it's a nice plus.
