Just huge!!
Warning for those who think 5w is great for playing in an apartment, 5w is very loud! However, the amp responds well at low volume, much better than a Classic studio for example. The clean sounds are not bad (watch the guitar output level, a black beauty 57 for example crunches even at 3 gain on the clean channel, a strat does better) my favorite domain is the crunch sound, just amazing.
The gain goes up to hard angry, for metal I think it would need a boost or available on the front panel. For cowboys a strat in crunch sound you are teleported to Texas.

Great head, finally I can push the beast during rehearsals, and I'm lucky to have a drummer who hits hard ????, I connect the head to a 1 x 12 eminence governor cab, the sound is great, the clean sound is very good for a Marshall, the distortion is superb, at this price don't hesitate. Made in England too. Really top
