Following the success of the D20 head in 2019, the first amp to feature speaker simulation and the Two notes reactive loadbox, comes the G20, Revv's new lunchbox-sized tube head.
The D20 was an instant hit with guitarists around the world thanks to its organic sound and ability to play, record, and live without a speaker. But the brand's users also wanted a high-gain amp in a compact, affordable head with Two Notes technology.
By incorporating Revv's purple high-gain tube channel, with 3 levels of Aggression, 3-band EQ and a Wide control to fine-tune the sound, the G20 is a no-compromise solution for guitarists looking for the perfect sound, every time. The ability to change channels, voices and Two notes settings via MIDI (or optional controller) make it a complete amp for both live and studio use.
The G20 features the world's best speaker simulations, virtual microphones, EQ and reverbs for live recording, silent headphone playing and live console playing. Additionally, in Reactive Load Direct mode, the Pre/Post switch allows the power amp to be included in the signal chain. This makes it possible to enjoy Two notes power amp simulations and to drastically change the character of the G20's virtual tubes, such as the EL84, for even more sonic possibilities.
