Summary of This Method

Designed for beginner musicians, this method offers a simple and structured introduction to learning to play a folk and popular instrument, emphasizing autonomy and the joy of playing. The progression is designed to help you acquire solid foundations without getting lost in overly theoretical explanations, while developing good habits from the very first pages.

You will find a learning path that guides the discovery of the instrument, the setup of playing technique, and then the progression through the first chords. The included chord charts facilitate understanding of finger positions and encourage regular practice, essential for gaining fluidity. This approach is particularly useful for accompanying songs, playing in a group, or simply enjoying playing at home.

The included CD serves as a true practice aid: it allows you to listen to examples, train your ear, and become familiar with the expected musical output. By relying on listening and imitation, you progress faster in accuracy, rhythmic placement, and continuity of playing. It is also an excellent tool for teachers and self-taught learners to vary sessions and consolidate skills.

With its 64 pages, this method offers a complete and practical format, ideal for starting confidently and building lasting foundations. It suits a wide audience and is suitable both for guided learning and as a supplement to lessons, thanks to its progressive content and easy-to-follow markers.

nice for the ukulele history part, but personally I appreciate the method only so-so, I am already a guitarist but after the first basic exercises, the pieces are nice but poorly explained, lacking precision, I think this method is not suitable if you have never touched a guitar before.
