This camera exactly meets my need, which is recording classical guitar for educational purposes. The two associated microphones already provide good sound capture, but the two XLR inputs and their 48-volt phantom power allow recording with cardioid condenser microphones, which is a real plus in terms of sound quality, and by carefully managing the lighting, you get very high-quality videos.

A bit too plastic for me! A battery but no external charger to recharge it, a cable is indeed provided to recharge on the computer but the charging is long... long... long... otherwise, like all Zoom products, the sound and image quality are on point; finally, microphones that directly capture the true sound of an acoustic guitar, a real pleasure; no need for new strings on my guitar nor tedious setup of microphones to record...

Good camera. You need to read the manual to use it properly. Despite everything, I chose this camera because it can be remote controlled thanks to accessories such as: The AD-17, BTA-1, BT-03. Very useful for a musician in rehearsal or concert without moving from their place. Otherwise, no point in buying this camera, better to take the Q8 model. I hope WoodBrass quickly decides to put these accessories on sale. Rating 3 out of 5 only related to the accessories

High-end gadget. There are audio inputs and professional settings on a low-quality lens with mediocre performance. In outdoor places without light control, it is insufficient and for this price another camcorder is better. The battery capacity is too low for this device. Visually I hoped for a quality that does not match reality. A modified product of this kind with a partnership with a specialist would be urgently needed.
