GForce Oberheim OB-X is a virtual instrument designed to recreate the broad, warm, and punchy character of vintage polysynths while adapting to the demands of modern productions. At its core, the emulation aims for a "hardware" feel: musical response, rich timbre, and organic behavior. The Vintage control adds subtle analog imperfections to thicken chords or make unison and pads more lively. Polyphony up to 16 voices and per-voice panning facilitate wide stereo images, ideal for cinematic pads and modern stacks.
The X-Modifier technology opens an extended playground: dedicated LFOs and envelopes (X-LFO, X-ADSR) allow modulation of a large number of parameters without tedious routing.
