Acoustic Agent: Punch Kit, Natural, Gritty, and High Impact
The
Punch Kit emphasizes a natural, rough, and powerful acoustic sound with a realistic room ambiance. It is based on a
Tama Starclassic Bubinga kit deeply sampled and offers
25 new presets, each with its own mix and MIDI styles played by a session drummer. The result: lively and musical grooves, including intros, outros, and multiple variations, perfect for quickly building an arrangement without losing the "drummer" feel.
Pattern Editor: Create Beats Faster, with Precision
The pattern editor is designed for modern creation: each pad has its own
dedicated lane, which speeds up editing and makes programming more readable, even on complex rhythms. To spark inspiration, the
Random and
Euclidean step generators allow happy accidents or perfectly repeatable structures to emerge, ideal for evolving hi-hats, polyrhythmic percussion, or minimalist grooves.

Color Punch brings
25 new Beat Agent kits oriented towards modern pop: solid kicks, incisive hi-hats, crisp percussion, and snappy snares. The whole is designed to blend naturally with bright synths, grittier basses, and upfront vocals, laying down an immediate and effective rhythmic foundation.
Integrated Mixer, Unified FX Editing, and Smarter Search
The
Mixer is now integrated at the bottom of the interface, with the option to detach it or open it in a dedicated window. You can edit kits and mix settings side by side without breaking the flow. Mix and effect editing is unified across the different "Agents," making adjustments more consistent and faster from one kit to another.
The
MediaBay becomes contextual: it automatically filters results according to the current action. For example, when layering kicks, it only displays kick samples to save time and keep focus. A Sample tab also facilitates exploring sample packs, with filters by Agent type or a global view.
Pitch Detection, Warp Mode, and New Shaping Tools
Pitch detection analyzes the pitch of a sample with one click, then allows tuning it to the song's key: useful for stabilizing a kick in the bass, harmonizing toms, or preventing a snare from "singing" off-key. The
new spectral algorithm in Warp Mode helps sync drum or melodic samples to the project tempo. Finally, each kit preset now includes a
preview that automatically adjusts to your session tempo for faster kit selection.
Groove Agent also integrates
hardware mapping for electronic drums (connection and direct play), as well as
5 new effects (Auto Gain Compressor, Fuzz Distortion, Clipper, Studio EQ 24) and a
Shaper Mode to intuitively draw and refine envelope curves, ideal for mastering attack, sustain, and hit feel.
