Description


Presentation: The ENVELOPE pedal is an automatic filter for guitar and bass in Micro Pedal format. The SENSITIVITY setting lets you adapt the response of the effect to the dynamics of your game and the pickups of your instrument. It offers a wide range of sonorities, the funky casserole with subtle sensual atmospheres, with even a position to keep a fixed frequency to spice up your game. The Q can refine the frequency on which the pedal will work. The DECAY adjusts the speed at which the filter will close. Its all-analog circuit brings a touch of heat and control potentiometers, settings that makes it super versatile.

Notes

The Mooer Pedals are all True Bypass: when the pedal is off, the signal of the guitar does not go into the electronic circuits, but directly from the input to the output, which ensures the neutrality of the pedal in off mode on the sound of the instrument. Also, when the pedal is not powered, it lets the signal pass.

I use it with a bass. It's probably a pedal more suited for guitar because with the bass the variety of sounds is a bit limited. The decay knob is useless because even at minimum the decay is quite long. The tone knob, with a bass, will also stay at minimum because otherwise you lose all the lows. The Q knob will stay at maximum otherwise you don't feel any effect. Then there's the big sensitivity knob, its setting must be adjusted according to the bass's output level, but it's very likely that this knob will always be at full if you want a noticeable effect. In conclusion, for a bass, it's usable but there are definitely better options.
