With the DAVE 10 G4X, there's no need to look. LD Systems has completely rethought and refined the concept of a 2.1 amplified sound system. Simply install the subwoofer (with 10" woofer) and the two satellites (each with two 4" speakers, total power 680 W peak) and connect the audio sources: the sound will amaze you right away! With the integrated 6-channel mixer, you have all your microphones, instruments and other audio signals under control - and thanks to the integrated Bluetooth, you can also stream music wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet.
The first two channels of the mixer are designed as console channels. They allow you to connect a microphone, a high-impedance instrument - like a guitar and/or electric bass - or line-level sources. A 2-band equalizer (bass/treble) and an adjustable reverb with three presets (small, large, plate) allow for precise sound shaping. Channels 3 and 4 are designed as stereo line level inputs, suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines or small electronic drum kits.
The DAVE 10 G4X audio system becomes even more versatile when you use the SPDIF digital stereo input or the Bluetooth connection to connect a CD player, computer or smartphone. Need backing tracks or sound effects for your concert and want to play music before the concert starts? No problem! The inputs (channels 5 and 6) can also be used for a karaoke system, or simply to connect a TV set in the sports bar for an impressive sound experience.
Speaking of impressive sound, the DAVE 10 G4X has been completely redesigned and developed from scratch. This benefits not only instruments and music, but also speech intelligibility if you happen to use the sound system for lectures, speeches or a round table discussion. The DAVE 10 G4X uses new dome tweeters and waveguides for even dispersion, as well as FIR filters and advanced DSP technology for transparent, distortion-free sound. The subwoofer's bass reflex loading has been optimized to avoid turbulence noise at the port outlet.
The DAVE 10 G4X audio system is a 2.1 stereo audio system with two stereo presets. The two satellites are usually placed on the left and right sides of the room or on a stage. The classic stereo preset is provided for this purpose. But for a particularly space-saving installation, the two satellites can also be mounted on a single T-bracket above the subwoofer. Since the satellites are very close to each other in this case, interference is inevitable. To overcome this pro
blem, the cluster mode uses a special M/S distribution to reproduce the stereo signal without interference. It also provides a higher dynamic range and a better controlled directivity.
When it comes to accessories, LD Systems has thought of all common applications. Carrying bags, a cart with wheels, the above-mentioned T-bracket, a speaker pole bracket and a wall bracket for the satellite are available.
