LD Systems has completely redesigned and refined the concept of the 2.1 amplified sound system. Simply install the subwoofer (with 10" woofer) and the two satellites (each incorporating two 4" speakers, with a total power of 680 W peak) and connect the audio sources: the sound will amaze you straight away! Thanks to the integrated 6-channel mixer, you have all your microphones, instruments and other audio signals under control - and thanks to the integrated Bluetooth, you can also stream music wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet. The first two channels of the mixer are designed as console channels. They allow you to connect a microphone, a high impedance instrument - such as a guitar and/or electric bass - or line level sources. A 2-band EQ (bass/treble) as well as an adjustable reverb with three presets (small, large, plate), allow you to shape the sound with precision. Channels 3 and 4 are designed as line-level stereo inputs, and are suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines or small electronic drum kits. The DAVE 10 G4X audio system becomes even more versatile when you use the SPDIF digital stereo input or Bluetooth connection to connect a CD player, computer or smartphone. Do you need backing tracks or sound effects for your concert and want to play music before the concert starts? No problem ! The inputs (channels 5 and 6) can also be used for a karaoke system, or simply to connect a TV device in the sports bar for an impressive sound experience. Speaking of impressive sound, the DAVE 10 G4X has been completely redesigned and developed from the ground up. This benefits not only the instruments and music, but also the intelligibility of speech if you happen to use the PA system for lectures, speeches or a round table. The DAVE 10 G4X uses new dome tweeters and waveguides for even dispersion, as well as FIR filters and cutting-edge DSP technology for transparent, distortion-free sound. The bass reflex load of the subwoofer has been optimized to avoid any turbulence noise at the port exit. The DAVE 10 G4X audio system is a 2.1 stereo audio system with two stereo presets. In general, we place the two satellites on the left and right of the room, or on a stage. The classic stereo preset is intended for this purpose. But for a particularly space-saving installation, the two satellites can also be mounted on the same T-bracket above the subwoofer. As the satellites are very close to each other in this case, interference is inevitable. To overcome this problem, Cluster mode uses a special M/S distribution to reproduce the stereo signal without interference. It also provides greater dynamic reserve and better controlled directivity. In terms of accessories, LD Systems has thought of all common applications. This includes carrying bags, a trolley on wheels, the T-bracket mentioned above, a speaker mast bracket and a wall bracket for the satellite.
