The XLR / jack combo input available to the M-Track Solo has the huge advantage of offering increased versatility, not limiting it to just plugging in a single type of instrument. Cleverly combining an XLR and a jack, it allows you to connect a microphone as well as a line level device, such as a digital piano or a drum machine. It incorporates 48V phantom power to power your studio condenser microphones. The second input, in 6.35 mm jack format, has an input level selector allowing you to connect your guitar as well as your line level devices.
A simple and efficient monitoring system
The M-Track Solo presents a simple but effective monitoring system, whether microphone, line or instrument, via the mini-jack headphone output or the main outputs in jack format, without any latency. The USB / Direct Mono switch allows you to select the source of the preview, between a preview of the signal coming from the computer (USB) and a preview of all the summed inputs in mono (Direct Mono). This system greatly simplifies recording new parts, or adding parts to an existing composition.
