The Kali Audio IN-UNF is an Ultra-Nearfield studio monitor system specially designed for use on your desktop. With full range from reference level to 0.8 meters, a detailed and intimate view of your mix is just at your fingertips. The IN-UNF is specifically designed to sit on your desk, and your desk is integrated as an acoustic member of the system. Reflections from the speakers towards the desk to your ears are taken into account, giving you a crystal clear picture of your mix that you can rely on to translate well.
The IN-UNF consists of three main parts: a bass unit and two satellites. The bass unit houses two 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers along with the amplifier and other system electronics. The two woofers are horizontally opposed, so no sharp vibration is noticeable at the desk or anything sitting on top of the bass unit. Both satellites use the same coaxial midrange and tweeter as Kali's famous IN-5 and IN-8 studio monitors. The midrange/tweeter satellites are spherical and rest on a silicone pad that allows you to adjust their angle so that they are aimed precisely at your ears.
The bass unit also houses the IN-UNF inputs, including a USB-C input that supports 24-bit resolution and up to 48kHz sample rate. Connect your computer, laptop, tablet, phone, or other USB-enabled audio device. iOS devices that come with a Lightning connector will come with Apple's Camera Adapter Kit, sold separately. Balanced TRS, 3.5mm and optical inputs are also provided for easy connection to professional and consumer audio devices, as well as game consoles and TVs.
