This EZX for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 aims to unveil some of the defining moments in the genre's history and offer you the ultimate collection of custom-made drum kits. If you're looking for powerful, resonant kits that can handle the full dynamic range, from subtle to explosive, and deliver bright, crisp, earthy, and warm tones, this EZX is for you.
The Fusion EZX kit was recorded by recording engineer Stefano Civetta (Nile Rodgers, Ed Sheeran, Earth, Wind and Fire) and drummer Pete Riley (Guthrie Govan, Keith Emerson, Richie Kotzen) at School Farm, a brand-new, state-of-the-art studio in Essex, England. With its SSL Duality console, excellent mic, 24 Neve preamp channels, and, most importantly, its spacious yet reverb-free live room, it was the ideal choice to capture the vibrant energy of this EZX's drums. A total of four unique kits are included, each carefully selected, tuned, and optimized to bring its own unique sound and style to the project. Additionally, one of the kits was recorded with two different head configurations, resulting in five completely different tones. Plus, with seven toms each, extras such as side snares, octobans, cowbells, a gong kick, several additional drum parts, and a range of cymbals from 6-inch splashes to 23-inch rides, stacks, and chinas, this EZX offers exceptional sonic coverage.
