The IDX:100 amplifier is the latest high-performance modeling combo from Blackstar (alongside the IDX:50). It builds on the highly acclaimed original amps from the ID series and is designed to deliver exceptional tone and versatility in a compact format. Featuring a built-in screen, this model offers intuitive navigation, real-time recall, and deep editing of effects. Once an effect is selected, you can access up to four individual parameters on the screen to fine-tune each virtual pedal. Thanks to advanced digital processing, the IDX series offers a wide range of tones suitable for guitarists of all levels. Musicians can easily save and recall custom patches, allowing quick access to their favorite settings. Combining sleek design with high performance, the IDX series combos are the ultimate all-in-one amplifiers. Intuitive Controls: 4-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble, ISF) and Gain, Volume, and Voice controls on a panel that’s both familiar and versatile.
Effect Versatility: Over 35 built-in PRE-FX, modulations, delays, and reverbs, each with relevant control parameters, all selectable and editable directly from the amp, plus an effects loop for connecting external pedals.
Dynamic Display: The digital screen shows patch names, effect selection, individual effect parameters, intuitive control recall, and other useful information.
Tube Response Shaping: Choose between EL84, EL34, and 6L6 response settings to replicate the feel and tone of a classic tube amp.
Direct Connectivity: CabRig via balanced XLR output, USB-C, or 6.35mm jack, plus a 3.5mm line-in for audio playback.
Footswitch Compatibility: Adding the FS-12 provides full flexibility for this amplifier. The FS-18 and other dual footswitches are also compatible.
