Description Musser’s 4.0-octave marimbas feature fixed-width bars ranging from C3 to C7, on a five-position height adjustable folding frame. The M31 “Windsor II” model has Kelon® bars, while the M32 “Studio” model has African Padauk bars. Oval aluminum resonators are used in the lowest octave to accommodate the narrower bars and produce excellent resonance, while the silver vein powder coat finish provides added durability and scratch resistance. The superb sound and easy portability make Musser’s 4.0-octave marimbas the ideal instruments for the touring professional or student.
Features The M32 4.0-octave Studio marimba has non-graduated African Padauk bars in the C3-C7 note range. This marimba has aluminum resonators with a silver vein powder coated finish, and it includes a height-adjustable frame with folding aluminum legs. The Studio marimba is an ideal personal-use instrument for students and touring professionals alike. Standard tuning is to A = 442 Hz, alternate tunings are also available.
