The Seymour Duncan Vintage Jazz Bass pickups are true to the originals by capturing that warm grain with just the right amount of mids. The neck pickup is full and provides nice full bass without lacking in precision and attack. It is wired RWRP (reverse winding and polarity) to act as a humbucker when engaged with the bridge position. The bridge pickup is punchy but soft at the same time and brings a shine that is perfectly balanced with the neck pickup. Since 1978, Seymour Duncan has produced all its replicas of vintage Fender pickups by hand with the techniques and materials most faithful to the golden age: plate, cables, coils, magnets.
