FabFilter Twin 3 is an exceptionally high-quality synthesizer plug-in, offering remarkable analog sound and incredible modulation options. It features an expanded effects section and an innovative, easy-to-use interface. Completely redesigned, the interface is highly simplified, offering an easier workflow, with a new design of the modulation sources, a floating slot panel and effects panels.
We have improved the sound quality of the oscillators and filters, adding an analog-modeled drift. In addition, we have added a fourth oscillator and increased the maximum number of voices from 32 to 64. A polyphony mode per oscillator has been added, where each note triggers a different oscillator. Four new filters have also been added, bringing the total to four. In addition, we have introduced new vintage-sounding EQ-like filter shapes (bell, shelf, notch) for each included filter style. Thanks to the internal saturation and non-linearities, this ensures a truly unique filter behavior with a lot of character, incomparable to usual, clean EQ filters.
