The new Gibson Victory was created in response to players' requests for the return of this cult guitar from the 80s. Designed for limitless personal expression, it carries the DNA of the original versions with enhanced features such as refined body contours, improved weight and balance, and an Explorer™ headstock. The Victory has a 64.7cm scale length, and the mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius for improved playability, SlimTaper™ profile and 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body features a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, as well as a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbucker™ pickups wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil separation and inner/outer coil selection when coils are separated, which, together with the three-way pickup selector, provides a wide range of humbucking and single coil tonal options with a minimum number of controls. A Gibson case is also included.
