3-band EQ with boost and filters
With the re-release of the ParaEq, Empress has kept everything that people loved about the original and taken it one step further. The purity of the audio path, already impressive, has been further improved with an even quieter circuit and a huge 27 volt dynamic range. The size of the cabinet has also been reduced and has inputs and outputs on top, for less clutter.
3 parametric EQ bands with 3 bandwidths each give you extremely flexible EQ. A wide band is perfect for global and transparent adjustment. A medium wide band is for everyday situations such as adjusting excess low-midrange or stiffness and adding some mid-highs. A narrow band is used to eliminate problematic frequencies or acoustic guitar feedback.
The Boost section offers +30dB of clean boost and can be set to engage with the EQ section and act as a gain when doing subtractive EQ. The boost can also be used separately as a pure clean boost. The signal path of the ParaEq MKII and ParaEq MKII Deluxe includes a selection of the highest quality components to deliver a perfectly organic sound. The smooth, transparent EQ enhances your sound without masking the purity of your instrument's sound, whether it's guitar, bass, synth or vocals. The dynamic range has been increased to 27 volts internally, making this EQ virtually impossible to overload. The advanced configuration allows you to define whether the bypass is true bypass or buffered, to define the independence between the EQ and boost settings, and to define the power-on configuration.

Gebruiksgemak

Zeer krachtige pedaal om het gelaatsgeluid van de gitaar tijdens live-optredens onder meer of minder geschikte omstandigheden schoon te maken. De low-pass en high-pass zijn geweldig! Je kunt de boost gebruiken, hetzij alleen in de EQ, hetzij onafhankelijk. De potmeters hebben een zeer discrete maar voldoende klik op de middenstand. Deze pedaal stelt een gitarist in staat om minimaal onafhankelijk te zijn om zijn frequentiespectrum schoon te maken!

Uitstekende equalizer! De bouwkwaliteit is perfect, ik gebruik hem om de akoestische resonanties van de versterkers in de jazzclub waar ik werk te verminderen en ik gebruik hem ook om het geluid van de versterkers te bewerken wanneer dat nodig is, en daarvoor zijn de filters en shelves perfect! De muzikanten en het publiek genieten van een helderder en minder vermoeiend geluid, DE BESTE!
