The NT55 is a versatile small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for sensitive recording applications. Featuring a gold-sputtered 1/2-inch cardioid condenser capsule, it delivers smooth, balanced sound and very low self-noise. For added flexibility, it features a three-position pad (0, -10 dB, -20 dB) and a three-stage high-pass filter (flat, 75 Hz, 150 Hz). Its exceptionally precise cardioid polar pattern and extended frequency response make the NT55 ideal for recording everything from acoustic instruments to drum overheads and cymbals.
