The new LINEAR 5 MKII series is a completely revised version of the popular LINEAR 5 series. Manufactured in Germany and featuring the latest technological innovations, it is aimed at professional groups and service providers seeking sophisticated, versatile, flexible and cost-effective tools for their daily activities. One of the major evolutions of the MKII version is the addition of a powerful DSP that can be controlled remotely with dedicated software via an Ethernet connection. The LINEAR 5 MKII can thus be managed in network. Moreover HK has foreseen the possibility of integrating in the network speakers which do not have their own DSP.
The new models are lighter and have smaller dimensions than their predecessors for easier handling.
Two new subwoofers have been developed specifically for setting up systems with optimized performance. They have presets that allow for use in cardioid mode.
