As Bluetooth has become a studio standard worldwide in recent years, integrating it into the R.A.M. 1000 was an obvious decision for Heritage Audio when developing its latest professional monitor controller. Coming in a stylish and practical desktop unit, the R.A.M 1000 can handle multiple sources simultaneously, an attractive solution for self-recording musicians and mid-sized studios. Indeed, it includes all the latest CODECs (compression/decompression) - APTX®, APTX LL®, AAC, APTX HD® and SBC - to guarantee the highest possible quality transmission at all times. There is even an option to switch routing from OUTPUT 1 to OUTPUT 2 or OUTPUT 3.
Despite its simplicity, the R.A.M 1000 offers plenty of features that will help it earn its place and remain at the center of any studio or creative workplace. With two sets of fully balanced analog inputs and outputs and a high-quality headphone output, there are enough connectors so you can control exactly what you need. Additionally, there is also a Bluetooth input with all the latest CODECS to ensure the best audio quality is always available. With the R.A.M 1000, it is now possible to simultaneously select one or both of the inputs and outputs at any time, for even more flexibility. Add to that the ubiquitous MUTE, DIM and MONO buttons as well as a new INPUT LEVEL meter and you have a complete all-in-one professional monitoring solution. The R.A.M 1000 is conveniently armed with a universally popular USB-C connector for its power supply, making it usable anywhere.
For even more flexibility, there is now an option allowing the OUTPUT 1 signal to operate in two different modes: REC for recording or MON for monitoring. In MON mode, the output operates as intended in a monitoring controller, following all movements made with the MASTER LEVEL knob. In contrast, in REC mode, the output is not affected at all by master level changes. All selected inputs will be sent to output 1 in REC mode, but their level does not vary at all, which is perfect for recording into your DAW.
